EstateMap is a property listings site for North Macedonia and the region. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who is responsible
The site is operated by EstateMap. For any privacy request, write to us at the address at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
Account data: your email address, name, phone number and, if you choose a business account, your business name and tax number. Sign-in through Google shares your email, name and profile picture with us.
Listing data: everything you enter when publishing a property — price, size, city, address, description, photos, optional cadastral numbers — and the contact phone shown to interested buyers.
Usage data: pages viewed, searches, saved properties and saved searches, plus basic technical information such as your browser type and approximate location derived from your device when you allow it.
Messages you send through the contact, support, bug and idea forms, including your email address.
Why we use it
To show listings and let interested people contact the owner, to keep your account and favourites, to send the notifications you enabled, to answer your messages, and to detect abuse, spam and fraudulent listings.
What is public
A published listing and its photos are public, including the contact phone you enter. Your public profile (name and picture) is shown only when you keep it enabled in settings; you can hide it at any time.
How long we keep it
Listings and their photos are kept while they are published and for a reasonable period afterwards for dispute handling. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Support messages are kept up to two years.
Who else sees your data
Service providers that run the site for us: our hosting and database provider, our email sending provider, and the map and place-search services used to display maps. They process data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Deleting your account from settings removes your account data and unpublishes your listings. For anything else, email us and we will answer within 30 days.
Cookies and local storage
We store a sign-in session, your language and theme choice, your saved properties when you are not signed in, and your interface preferences. We do not use advertising trackers.
